In Mikumi, often called the “Serengeti in miniature,” enjoy game drives across its vast plains, spotting lions, zebras, and giraffes. Ruaha National Park, Tanzania’s largest park, offers a more remote experience with its rugged terrain and diverse wildlife, including rare species like sable antelopes and wild dogs.

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight departure to Nyerere (formerly Selous Game Reserve). The largest game park in Africa, truly remote and 4 times bigger than Serengeti. Arrival in time for lunch. After a brief afternoon rest, you will then embark on an afternoon game drive which runs until sunset when you return to your lodge for an evening’s rest. Attractions include: Wildlife along River Rufiji, including African hunting dog, elephant, leopard, Africa’s highest lion concentration, buffalo, various antelopes, crocodiles, hippos and prolific birdlife. After breakfast transfer to the airstrip for your flight departure to Mikumi. Arrival in time for lunch. After a brief afternoon rest, you will then embark on an afternoon game drive which runs until sunset when you return to your camp for an evening’s rest. Attractions include: High wildlife population, including lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, Nyasaland wildebeest & various birdlife, Mwanambogo water hole, Stanley’s Kopje and other mountains. After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight departure to Ruaha. Arrival in time for lunch After a brief afternoon rest, you will then embark on an afternoon game drive which runs until sunset when you return to your lodge for an evening’s rest. Attractions include: both spotted & striped hyena, dik-dik, kudu, zebra, giraffe, warthog, hippo, roan & sable antelopes, crocs and baobab alongside over 1,600 plant species.
