In Cape Town, discover iconic landmarks with a guided city tour. Enjoy a cable car ride to the summit of Table Mountain for sweeping panoramic views, visit historic sites like the Castle of Good Hope, and wander through the vibrant Bo-Kaap. Later, a ferry ride to Robben Island offers a moving insight into South Africa’s struggle for freedom, as you step inside the very cells once occupied by Nelson Mandela.
Next, set out on a full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula. Cruise along the Atlantic coast, explore Hout Bay, and drive the breathtaking Chapman’s Peak Drive. Visit Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve, with an optional stop at Boulders Beach to see its famous penguins. Then, indulge in the charm of the Winelands by exploring Franschhoek and Paarl, where rolling vineyards and gourmet cuisine set the perfect stage for relaxation.
Your journey continues with a flight to Kruger National Park, where exciting game drives reveal the Big Five and a wealth of wildlife in their natural habitat. After an exhilarating safari, travel back to Johannesburg via the scenic Panoramic Route, which offers dramatic views of the Northern Drakensberg escarpment.

Morning Tour of Table Mountain by cable car; the state-of-the-art car rotates 360 degrees on its way to the top, offering a panoramic view of The City; at the summit take short walks enjoy the magnificent view of Cape Town. Continue on to the Cape Peninsula experience some of the most spectacular views in the world. The tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast passing through the fishing village of Hout Bay. Here you will have the option of taking a short boat trip to Duiker Island to view the Cape Fur seals (own account). The tour then heads along Chapman’s Peak Drive (if open) on to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. From there we travel to False Bay and return to Cape Town by way of the Simon’s Town naval base where we visit the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach (optional, for own account). Travel via Fishhoek fishing village and Muizenberg to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens for a short walking tour of these beautiful gardens. Continue to the Cape Winelands.
After breakfast drive to Franschhoek, a picturesque village with spectacular vineyards covering the mountain slopes. Enjoy a full day of game viewing in open vehicles in search of the “Big Five” namely lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos and leopards. After breakfast return to Johannesburg via the Panoramic route -one of the most exhilarating scenic stretches in Southern Africa. The vast escarpment of the Northern Drakensberg mountain range, which dramatically drops away some 1,600m to a vast low-lying terrain, affords spectacular views, not to mention a sense of panoramic grandeur, as the hot Lowveld plains below stretch away to a shimmering horizon with a stop for lunch – arrive Johannesburg in late afternoon. After breakfast go on a full day tour of Johannesburg that includes Pretoria; Soweto & The Apartheid Museum for an in depth history of South Africa Drive to Pretoria also known as Tswane – visit the Voortrekker Monument to learn the history of the Afrikaaners people of South Africa and the Union Building, which currently houses the president of South Africa enjoy the wonderful d view of Pretoria and perfect place to take pictures. Continue onto Soweto, visit the Hector Peterson Museum the location of the 1976 Youth rising. The Nelson Mandela House on Vilakazi Street set up to reflect days before Nelson Mandela went to prison and Bishop Desmond Tutu’s House. Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant. After breakfast go on a full day guided tour of Victoria Falls; go on a guided tour of the Falls and traditional village. Here you will view the spectacular Devil’s Cataract, Main Falls as well as the Horseshoe Falls. At the village you will have the opportunity to purchase some of Zimbabwe’s arts and crafts. In the afternoon you will be collected for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River including drinks (beer and wine) and light snacks.
