After breakfast go on a city tour of Cape Town. Visit Table Mountain via cable car. The cable car will take you to the 1086m mountain top which towers over Cape Town. On the return continue your city tour, passing the Houses of Parliament, City Hall, Castle and the Slave Lodge. You will also pass through the Bo-Kaap, Green Market Square and District Six. After breakfast, experience some of the most spectacular views in the world. The tour begins with a scenic drive along the Atlantic coast passing through the fishing village of Hout Bay. Here you will have the option of taking a short boat trip to Duiker Island to view the Cape Fur seals (own account). The tour then heads along Chapman’s Peak Drive (if open) on to Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. From there we travel to False Bay and return to Cape Town by way of the Simon’s Town naval base where we visit the Penguin colony at Boulders Beach (optional, for own account). Travel via Fishhoek fishing village and Muizenberg to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens for a short walking tour of these beautiful gardens.
